Here at NewHorizons Open College we value our students and offer continual, friendly and helpful support and advice throughout. It is important to us that our students feel fully supported and happy in their studies and a dedicated distance learning tutor is allocated to each student should they wish to consult them at any time, day or night, 7 days a week.
Upon enrolment with the college students are given details within their course pack including a personal student number and the name and email address of a highly trained tutor who will respond to queries and messages within 24 hours and can be contacted via email, post or live chat for the level of support required by the student.
Our tutors are experienced in the teaching profession and are dedicated to providing students with the support and guidance they require at all times. Each tutor has a wealth of knowledge in their subject and are able to contribute greatly to the course being studied by students.
Tutorial support is however optional as some students prefer to study independently and this is fully accepted. Whilst students may not require these services throughout their studies this service and their tutor will always be ready to support, aid and answer any concerns or questions that may arise at any point during their time with the college.
